Set in a densely built neighbourhood beside a circuit house, Petrichor makes the most of a limited footprint by opening southward to capture light and views. An open garden area expands the sense of space while softening the edges shared with neighbouring structures.

Rather than concealing its construction, the house celebrates exposed masonry and structural elements as features in their own right. The kitchen sits at a 45-degree angle to the parking court, the master bedroom and living spaces flow directly into the garden, and a first-floor terrace garden and balconies pull green space upward through the section.
