Perennial House

Hemmed in by neighbouring plots on three sides with only a single-lane frontage, the house turns inward — orienting its windows toward a central courtyard for green views and ample light while shielding the interior from heat gain.

A curved masonry wall blocks southern glare, frames an existing tree and threads circulation from the front yard through to the side courtyard. Inside, a double-height volume and rectangular courtyard flood the home with light across exposed brick walls and Jaisalmer stone flooring.
