These green pockets soften the microclimate while keeping the street-facing facade porous to light and air — "after sundown, when the interior is lit up, the facade appears like a lantern."
A lime-plastered screen filters air and light while letting breezes move through the home, with integrated planting acting as a natural coolant. A central family lounge separates public from private zones, and a split slab overhead admits eastern morning sun into the main living area.
