
Designed for a client engaged in organic farming on a 10-acre property, Talaab House is built around a 3,600 sq ft pond for rainwater collection and zero-waste rammed-earth walls constructed from soil excavated on site.
Flat brick domes, raised with local artisans using traditional techniques, cut cement use in the roof slab by 65% and remove 1.1 tons of steel — a roof that is both structure and craft, built in collaboration with the people who will live beneath it.
